I am a highly experienced Educational Psychologist with over two decades of specialist knowledge, helping children, young people, and families from a wide range of backgrounds, developing practical solutions and achieving better outcomes. My career began in local authority settings, where I served as a Senior Educational Psychologist and led a team of dedicated practitioners, overseeing complex casework and contributing to strategic developments in educational support services. Later, I transitioned into private practice, offering direct support to nurseries, schools, and families, as well as providing supervision for both school staff and fellow psychological practitioners. In this capacity, I have developed bespoke interventions tailored to the needs of diverse learners, particularly those with neurodivergent profiles and social-emotional challenges.

I have a particular passion for supporting the neurodivergent community and for working with young people facing complex psychosocial trauma. Being a mother of three—my daughter and twin boys—has profoundly shaped my understanding of child development and fuelled my interest in action-based research, especially within understanding the unique educational and identity needs of neurodivergent twins and how they navigate learning differences. I advocate for strengths-based approaches that empower all neurodivergent learners in inclusive settings.

As a member of the Association of Educational Psychologists and the British Psychological Society, and a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council, I stay committed to maintaining the highest professional standards. My goal is to create inclusive, research-driven strategies that empower children, young people, and the adults who support them to flourish both academically and personally.
